In 1984 Infocom worked with Douglas Adams to create a text adventure game based on the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy books. The game was text only with no graphics but full of character and humour as players explored the game and solved puzzles. Adam's wit and writing style translated well to this format and the game became a bestseller of the era. I remember playing this classic for hours on my Apple //e.
